However, the lab/PI may be willing to cover the cost to submit. Additionally, your COM may cover fees to submit to certain journals. If you are unsure of where you are able to submit, contact the Research Director at your COM or your attending physician on the case.

AACE Clinical Case Reports

Description: The American Association of Clinical Endocrinology (AACE) Clinical Case Reports is the official open-access journal of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology. The journal’s mission is to provide up-to-date information for endocrinologists regarding many topics, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, and more.

American College of Gastroenterology Case Reports Journal

Description: ACG Case Reports accepts unique cases related to gastroenterology. Students must submit with a GI fellow or resident interested in pursuing a GI fellowship as the lead author. All submitted abstracts will be published for the organization’s national meeting.

American College of Radiology (ACR) Case-in-Point

Description: The American College of Radiology Case-in-Point is an online collection of radiology case reports used to teach radiologists, residents, and students about imaging findings in both common and unique cases! Cases must be submitted with imaging and students must have a physician to submit the case with. It is free to submit a case and students should hear back in about 3 months if their case has been accepted or rejected.

American Journal of Case Reports

Description: The American Journal of Case Reports publishes both single and series case reports from all over the globe. Research from all clinical disciplines is welcome to apply.

Annals of Emergency Medicine

Description: Annals of Emergency Medicine, an official journal of the American College of Emergency Physicians, aims to publish science for emergency medicine and all related fields. The journal accepts manuscripts from several categories: research, opinion, clinical reports, and information regarding best practices in teaching emergency medicine.

    Annals of Medicine and Surgery

    Description: Annals of Medicine and Surgery focuses on undergraduates and postgraduates who are trained in medicine and surgery. The journal accepts a wide variety of articles including case reports.

    Brain and Cognition

    Description: Brain and Cognition publishes a wide variety of articles that relate to cognitive neuroscience and neuropsychology.

    The British Medical Journal

    Description: The BMJ accepts cases that provide learning value, whether the case is common or rare. The case must also be patient-centered to include the patient’s perspective throughout the writing process. BMJ Case Reports has a unique business model whereby users (whether authors or readers) become fellows through a paid fellowship.

    Cardiology Clinics

    Description: Cardiology Clinics provides new insight into patient treatment and recent advances in the field. Each issue focuses on one cardiology topic which includes CAD, heart rhythm disorders, and more.

    Chinese Medicine Journal

    Description: Chinese Medical Journal, a publication of Chinese Medical Association, publishes articles regarding ethical, health, and social issues in all fields of medicine from all over the globe.

      Clinical Neuroradiology

      Description: Clinical Neuroradiology publishes current advancements and reviews in neuroradiology. The journal welcomes contributions in both diagnostic and interventional disciplines.

      Cooper Rowan Medical Journal

      Description: CRMJ is a partially student-run peer-reviewed journal out of Cooper Medical School accepting articles first-authored by residents and medical students.                   American College of Physicians

                  Description: The ACP holds a conference each year that gives medical students, resident/fellows, and early career physicians a chance to present abstracts on a national scale. Students must be ACP members to participate in the National Abstract Competitions. Membership is required.

                      Osteopathic Medical Education Conference (OMED)

                      Description: The American Osteopathic Association’s poster session/competition serves as a platform for researchers, both new and seasoned, to share their findings with a wider audience. Participation is open to students enrolled in osteopathic medical schools who are also members of the association. Additionally, the poster session/competition is an integral part of the Osteopathic Medical Education Conference (OMED), an annual event that brings together healthcare professionals, educators, and students to exchange knowledge, explore innovative practices, and advance the field of osteopathic medicine. OMED provides a dynamic environment for networking, learning, and showcasing research, making it an invaluable experience for attendees at all stages of their careers.
